Gavin Klein, VMA Intern

College of the Holy Cross

Gavin Klein is an organist based out of the New England Area performing both organ and early keyboard music. He is an Organ Scholar at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA class of 2026. At Holy Cross Gavin studies Music, International Political Economy, and German. He is an organ student of Dr. Ezequiel Menendez, following previous instruction from Dr. C. Henry Mason, and Mr. William Ness. Furthermore, his musical abilities encompass both harpsichord studies under the guidance of Dr. Johann Klopp and piano instruction from Ms. Judit Ernst.

In addition to his responsibilities at Holy Cross, Gavin is the organist at St. Bernards Church at Our Lady of Providence Parish, in Worcester. He is also an active member of the Schola Cantorum at St. John's Parish, Worcester, and regularly plays for the Trappist Monks at St. Joseph's Abbey in Spencer, MA.

Gavin has given performances across the United States and Europe, including notable venues such as Woolsey Hall at Yale University, Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Iglesia San Juan Bautista in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Salzburger Dom in Salzburg, Austria, il Duomo de Santi Pietro e Paolo in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Italy, and the Pfarrkirche Mariä Geburt in Rottenbuch, Germany.

He is so excited to be a part of the VMA team, and help use music as an important tool in bringing musicians and non-musicians together alike, and help foster the growth of young musicians all over the commonwealth!
