Welcoming Ruslan Ivanov: Innovation, Music, and Service

Ruslan Ivanov

Ruslan Ivanov, a junior at Cushing Academy, is a new member of Volunteer Musicians for the Arts (VMA), and we are excited to welcome him into a community of young musicians who believe in using their talents for good.

Drawn to VMA’s service-driven approach to music, Ruslan is eager to participate fully in outreach and fundraising efforts while exploring future leadership opportunities within the organization. He has already expressed a strong commitment to the fundraising process and plans to incorporate donation links directly into his music projects, making it easier for audiences to support charitable causes connected to his work.

What makes Ruslan’s vision especially compelling is his interest in innovation. He is currently developing an AI-based music application that will include a donation feature—extending the reach of music-driven philanthropy beyond live performance and into new digital spaces.

Ruslan’s initiative reflects the spirit of VMA: combining creativity, service, and leadership to make a tangible difference. We look forward to seeing how his ideas grow and how he continues to contribute to the VMA mission through both music and innovation.
