Service Through Music

The impact of Volunteer Musicians for the Arts since 2012

Since 2012, Volunteer Musicians for the Arts (VMA) has helped young musicians discover that their artistry can serve others. Through outreach concerts, leadership development, and student-led initiatives, VMA students bring classical music into communities where live performances are rarely experienced.

From assisted living communities and hospitals to libraries and shelters, students share music that uplifts, comforts, and connects people across generations.

Continuing the Mission

As VMA expands nationally, students continue discovering that their music can do more than entertain — it can serve.

Through the Junior Program, Leadership Initiative, and Adult Program, musicians across the country are helping ensure that classical music reaches communities where it can make a meaningful difference.
