The VMA Junior Program invites students to turn their musical training into meaningful service. Through outreach concerts, school clubs, and student leadership opportunities, young musicians help bring the beauty of classical music to communities across the country.
Student Leadership
The VMA Junior Program is guided by student leaders who help organize outreach concerts, represent young musicians across the country, and support the growth of VMA clubs in their communities.
Elected by their peers, these student leaders help ensure that student voices remain central to the mission of the organization while inspiring others to share music through service.

Club elections begin when a student submits a “Start a Club” request. State Senators apply through the VMA National Leadership Fellowship, and national officers are nominated during the annual late spring / summer election cycle.
