📸 Help Us Share the Impact of Music and Service! 🎶
Ronald McDonald House, Los Angeles: Oaks Christian School VMA Club (2025)
The holiday season is a wonderful time to bring music into our communities—and we want to celebrate the good our VMA Junior Program members are doing!
As you prepare for your outreach concerts this holiday season, we invite students and families to submit photos documenting their musical service for the VMA Foundation’s growing national impact portfolio.
Photos can be taken inside or outside your performance venue. They might show a student preparing their instrument, a piano or performance space, musicians performing, a group photo with fellow volunteers, or the venue decorated for the holidays. Even a simple photo of your group arriving at a community location can help tell the story!
A few important guidelines:
Please submit only photos that are appropriate to share publicly and do not reveal sensitive or private information.
Avoid identifiable residents, patients, children, or other audience members unless the appropriate permission has been obtained.
Please do not include names, medical information, private documents, or identifying details about people receiving services.
When in doubt, choose a photo of the musicians, instruments, venue exterior, or performance space without other people present.
Please ensure you have permission to share photos of any identifiable student or volunteer.
Our goal is to document the meaningful work of young musicians across the country—not simply the hours they perform, but the communities they serve and the connections they help create.
Every photo helps us tell a larger story about what happens when music meets service. Thank you for helping us build a portfolio that celebrates our students’ generosity, initiative, and leadership.
Give back. Play forward. 💙🎹
