Hailey Yamagata Appointed Lead State Senator

Rising senior, Hailey Yamagata, is taking her VMA club leadership experience to the next stage as a Massachusetts VMA state senator.

Hailey understands that it takes effective communication, teamwork and hard work to build a more perfect and harmonious VMA union. For if the VMA teaches anything, it is that every Junior member has a voice that can change their community for the better -- because our members do more than just stand up and bow; they innovate outreach, fundraise for the weary, and show us that being a public servant can be accomplished in every arena of life.

Hailey has plans to increase cross-collaboration amongst school clubs and start bringing members together.
