Paris gets what community is all about.

Meet Paris, a high school member of the VMA Foundation Junior Program from Arlington, Texas.

Paris is a dedicated young musician who is already making her mark as a member of her school’s top orchestra. While orchestra is an important part of her musical journey, Paris’s musicianship extends beyond the ensemble—she also plays guitar, bringing another dimension to her love of music.

Now, Paris is taking the next step: turning her passion for music into an opportunity to serve her community.

As a VMA Junior Program member, Paris is planning to start a VMA student club with approximately eight students. Through the club, she hopes to bring fellow young musicians together, explore opportunities to perform for others, and discover how music can become a meaningful form of service.

From Musician to Leader

The VMA Junior Program is about more than performing on a stage. It gives students the opportunity to explore what it means to use their musical talents to connect with their communities, develop character, and grow as young leaders.

For Paris, starting a club is an exciting opportunity to take initiative and invite other students to be part of something larger than themselves.

With approximately eight students expected to participate, her club will create a small community of young musicians who can learn from one another, support one another, and share their music with others.

A Musical Journey With Purpose

Whether she is performing with her orchestra, playing guitar, or bringing students together through her VMA club, Paris represents what the Junior Program is all about: helping young musicians discover that their music can have a purpose beyond the recital hall.

We are excited to welcome Paris to the VMA Foundation community and look forward to seeing what she and her fellow students in Arlington accomplish together.
