The VMA Foundation Junior Program empowers students in grades 1–12 who study privately with a music educator to serve their communities through music, develop compassionate leadership, and earn national service recognition. Classical music is at the heart of VMA, while performances may include a diverse range of genres and musical styles.
Perform for Your Community
Students organize and perform outreach concerts in assisted living communities, hospitals, schools, and public spaces. Performances may include classical, contemporary, popular, jazz, folk, and more.
Lead Student Government
Student leaders help organize outreach events, build school clubs, and represent young musicians across the country.
Serve Through Music
Students develop compassion and civic responsibility by sharing their music and artistry with their communities.
Earn National Recognition
VMA certifies volunteer hours and recognizes students through national service awards.
