Jonathan Yasuda,

Founder & Director

Jonathan Yasuda is a Boston-born pianist, educator, and nonprofit founder dedicated to making music accessible and community-centered. A full scholarship graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, he studied concurrently at the New England Conservatory and later earned a General Music Studies Certificate from Berklee College of Music. He pursued extensive Juris Doctorate studies at New England Law | Boston, which inform his work in nonprofit leadership and arts advocacy. He received national recognition from National Jurist Magazine for his dedication to the arts.

Jonathan has taught in higher education for over a decade and remains active as a performer, adjudicator, and private instructor. In 2012, he founded Volunteer Musicians for the Arts, a Boston-based nonprofit empowering student musicians to serve through outreach concerts and leadership training. Outside of music, he is a licensed Merchant Marine Officer and a corporation member of Community Boating Inc., advancing the mission of “sailing for all” in the heart of Boston.
