Massachusetts: Natalie and Colette begin their VMA journey

We’re excited to welcome Natalie, a high school student at Newton South High School, and Colette, a young violinist from Waban, Massachusetts, to the VMA Foundation Junior Program!

Though they are at different stages of their musical journeys, Natalie and Colette are joining a growing community of young musicians who see music as more than something to practice and perform. Through VMA, students have opportunities to share their talents, connect with their communities, and discover how music can be a meaningful form of service.

For Natalie, joining VMA during her high school years is an opportunity to explore leadership and service alongside her musical development. For Colette, her journey as a violinist begins with the same idea at the heart of VMA: everyone deserves orchestra seats.

We’re especially excited to see where their journeys take them—and how they will use their music to make a difference in the lives of others.
