Inaugural Giving Society Concert: December 6th
The VMA Foundation is excited to introduce the Cynthia Yasuda Giving Society Concert Series—a new series of special monthly concerts that brings together music, community, service, and philanthropy.
Named in honor of Cynthia Yasuda, whose life was defined by compassion, generosity, and a deep commitment to others, the Giving Society helps sustain the work of the VMA Foundation while creating meaningful opportunities for students, families, musicians, donors, and community members to come together.
Our First Giving Society Concert
The inaugural concert will take place:
Sunday, December 6 at 2:00 PM
Maplewood at Weston
This special afternoon will celebrate Cynthia's legacy through music while helping support the VMA Foundation's mission—including the continued growth of our free Junior Program and the programs, leadership opportunities, and outreach experiences that serve young musicians and their communities.
Become a Member of the Giving Society
A minimum annual contribution of $50 per participating family is required to register for the monthly Giving Society Concert Series. Families may request participation in one or more upcoming concert dates as they become available. A contribution and registration do not guarantee a performance opportunity.
Performance opportunities are limited and assigned according to available capacity and Giving Society priority:
President's Circle → Legacy Circle → Benefactor → Patron → Friend of the VMA
Every contribution helps provide the resources needed to bring music and service into communities while supporting the students and educators who make the VMA mission possible.
More importantly, every gift represents a commitment to Cynthia's legacy of compassion through music, service, and leadership.
