From the VMA to Washington, D.C.: New Officer Pins Arrive Just in Time

VMA Officer Pin rests proudly on a Steinway Model L.

We are excited to share that the new VMA Officer Pins have officially arrived. These pins will be presented to students elected to leadership positions in the Volunteer Musicians for the Arts as a symbol of their service and dedication to the organization.

Student leaders play an important role in guiding the VMA community. From organizing outreach concerts and mentoring younger musicians to helping expand clubs and service initiatives, officers help bring the mission of music, service, and leadership to life. The new pins recognize the commitment and responsibility that comes with serving in these roles.

The timing could not be better. This week, Felix Wang will be traveling to Washington, D.C. to meet with members of Congress, where he will speak about his research in music therapy and his involvement with the VMA. Felix will proudly wear the new VMA Officer Pin during his visit, representing the spirit of student leadership and service that defines the organization.

We wish Felix the very best as he shares the impact of music and community outreach with national leaders.
