VMA is introducing the Club President Monthly Report to help students stay engaged in our mission and connected to the national community. When members check in, we better understand their experiences and growth; when clubs check in, we gain a clearer picture of outreach, leadership, and service happening across the country.

The VMA Monthly Member Check-In helps Junior Program students reflect on their outreach, leadership, and musical growth each month while staying connected to VMA’s mission of service through music.

We warmly welcome Edward to the VMA community! Edward is a talented high school tenor and student at Bellevue High School.

Arjun organized a fundraising concert for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation at Milton Academy, raising over $7,000. The cause is personal as his grandmother has been battling cancer.

On Sunday, April 19, members of the VMA Junior Program will share an afternoon of music with residents in the dementia care unit at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. Students from Team Newton South High School will perform alongside VMA Director Jonathan, bringing live music and warm musical moments to residents and caregivers.

We are excited to welcome North Hill in Needham, Massachusetts as a new outreach venue for VMA student performances. This partnership will provide meaningful opportunities for Junior Program musicians to share live music with residents while continuing our mission of bringing music into the community.
